We went to the archery range yesterday, so Sofie wore her Boudica costume (it's pretty far off, of course, but we call it a "Renaissance interpretation").
The figure of Boudicca has been a longtime fascination of mine. While I was in high school I daydreamed about writing a book on her. I recently came across my binder of copious notes on her. Your photo made me smile.
